Thick fog envelops BA City, causes road, air traffic delays

Heavy fog was was reducing visibility in highways and main access road to the City of Buenos Aires with authorities suggesting drivers and increase safety measures and precautions.

Today’s weather conditions have forced the closure of the Premetro service connecting the Floresta and Villa Lugano neighbourhoods in the City and caused delays in the Roca, Sarmiento and San Martín train services.

Furthermore, thick fog has delayed flights in both the Jorge Newbery airport in the Argentine capital and the Ezeiza international airport in BA province. Some flights have been diverted to nearby air stations.
