Mothers University nationalisation to be voted in Congress
The project to nationalise the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo University that belongs to the renowned human rights organizations Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, will be discussed and voted in Congress, after kirchnerite MPs approved the project in both the Education and the Rights and Guarantees commissions of the Senate.
The government had previously failed twice to win approval for the plan due to a lack of quorum.
The bill proposes that the “Popular University of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo” be administrated in state hands, under the remit of the Education Ministry.
