Gov't confirms will appeal court ruling on Iran deal

Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich today ratified the government will appeal a court ruling which declared the Memorandum signed between the Argentine and Iranian governments on the AMIA attack probe unconstitutional.

In his daily press conference at the Government House, the head of ministers considered the decision “violates” the Constitution and highlighted the Judiciary “had never invalidated an international treaty.”
