Rossi: Argentine people won't forget Kirchnerite 'fulfillments'
Argentines will not forget about Kirchnerism's fulfillments over the past years, certainly backing a "political proposal that guarantees what started in 2003," the defence minister has affirmed.
“I think that the Argentinean people will not forget about all the fulfillments we have achieved over the past years. Without any doubt, the people will join a political proposal that guarantees what started in 2003,” Agustín Rossi told reporters today, alluding to the first Kichnerite administration headed by ex late president Néstor Kirchner more than a decade ago.
“Over the past 10 years, we have recovered the state. We have a present, active state now that has carried out (social inclusion) policies; a state with the capacity to direct loans to productive sectors,” the minister added, praising also the creation of "six million jobs" following Argentina’s 2001-2002 economic, political and social outburst and historic default.
Queried about a possible candidacy of his own next year, Agustín Rossi said he would rather seek to create consensus among all political sectors.
“I am convinced that we have to work so that in 2015 President (Cristina Fernández de Kirchner) puts the presidential sash over a partner who guarantees the continuity of current politics,” the official affirmed and warned: “If I were a candidate, I would be one with a ‘K.’
