'Mayweather is a crybaby'

Welterweights Floyd Mayweather (L) and Marcos "Chino" Maidana (R) pose for the flashes at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Santa Fe province-born boxer arrived in Argentina today following the Las Vegas fight where he lost against welterweight Floyd Mayweather. Still, Marcos “Chino” Maidana said the US champion was a “crybaby.”

Surrounded by reporters waiting for his arrival at the Ezeiza International airport and some many curious fans, Maidana held an impromptu press conference affirming he was ready for a rematch.

“Maywheather is not invincible. I was close to beating him,” the Argentine boxing idol told media and warned his Saturday’s opponent was “scared.”

“All rivals that fight Mayweather get intimidated by the show he makes and they then not know what to do in the ring. I went there to fight and beat him. It was a troubled fight but I was only a few blows (from beating him,” “Chino” Maidana, who will be resuming training after resting at his home town, stated.
