Autopsy reveals Naira died of 'severe traumatic brain injury'

A “severe traumatic brain injury” has been confirmed as the death cause in the Naira Cofreces case, the 17-year-old who was beaten to death by school mates in the Buenos Aires province locality of Junín.

The provincial Attorney General office released today the results of the autopsy confirming the adolescent died due to a “severe traumatic brain injury” following the brutal attack she suffered last week when three women beat her up when she was leaving the school.

Three female suspects have been detained; one of them has been reported to be a minor.
