Schumacher's agent denies 'wake up' interview

Agent of the seven-time Formula One world champion Sabine Kehm has denied granting an interview to the German RTL TV news channel in which she had allegedly confirmed Schumacher had woken up from a coma and recognized his wife.

Following today’s media versions about the Deutsche legend’s health condition and progress, Kehm told the German newspaper Bild she has not granted such an interview.

Earlier this month, Schumacher’s manager said in a statement to media that the F1 champion was showing “moments of conciousness” after 4 months in coma.

On December 29, the 45-year-old suffered severe head injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps resort of Meribel, currently in a wake-up phase from an artificial coma at a Grenoble hospital.
