US dollar steady at 8.01 pesos, 'blue' higher at 10.75 pesos
By the end of the financial week, the US dollar traded at 7.96 pesos for buyers and 8.01 pesos for sellers with the Central Bank keeping an eye out for market operations, seeking to maintain steady trends and fatten Argentina’s international reserves.
On Thursday, the CB purchased 110 million dollars with reserves hitting 27.8 billion dollars.
Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar climbed five cents to close at 10.75 pesos. Yesterday, greenbacks in the informal market jumped 20 cents.
