Francis to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister

Pope Francis will meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseni Yatseniuk next Saturday in the Vatican.

Yatseniuk will be received in papal audience after in the eve of Pope John Paul II and John XXIII canonization ceremony on Sunday and after Francis’ several calls for peace and dialogue in Ukraine, including his Easter message last Sunday.

The Ukrainian Premier is not the only official visitor scheduled for Saturday. The Pope will also meet with the President of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernández and former Belgian king and his wife, Alberto II. Francis will also meet with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski.

Over 40 world leaders have confirmed attendance on Sunday to the cannonization of the former pontiffs at St Peter’s Square
