Riquelme out of first team in Boca’s practice session

Boca Juniors’ captain and playmaker Juan Román Riquelme trained with the rest of the squad during the first part of the practice session yesterday, but he was not among the first team players in the soccer match later.

Carlos Bianchi’s team will visit Colón in Santa Fe on Sunday and Riquelme trained with Pablo Ledesma and Nicolás Colazo yesterday, but when the coach named the first 11 for the practice, he was not included.

The trainer will confirm the squad tomorrow and will decide to take the playmaker or not.

Colazo, meanwhile, left the practice with a pain in his left ankle, but the club’s doctor said he will be available for the match against one of the Final Tournament leaders.

Yesterday’s first team was: Agustín Orión; Hernán Grana, Daniel Díaz, Juan Forlín, Emanuel Insúa; Cristian Erbes, Fernando Gago, Federico Bravo, Juan Sánchez Miño; Juan Manuel Martínez and Emmanuel Gigliotti.
