Gov’t cuts subsidies to transport companies that joined strike

Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo today has signed a resolution that discounts a days worth subsidy to all public transport companies that haven’t rendered service during today’s general strike.

In an official press release, Randazzo explained that “the company that hasn’t rendered service during today will not perceive the corresponding compensation.”

The State will save around 50 million pesos due to the measure, according to the press release.
