Gov’t plans to cut subsidies on transport companies which join Thursday's strike

Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich today announced public transport companies will see their subsidies reduced if they join a nationwide strike called by the opposition trade union umbrella headed by teamster Hugo Moyano.

In his daily press conference, Capitanich stated that within the next hours a committee integrated by the CGT union, UIA industrial union, the CTA and universities will release a document to analyse “the full respect to the right to strike linked with the provision of public services and how it affects workers.”
