CFK praises public, private partnerships in Aeroparque launch
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner backed state-owned airline Aerolineas Argentinas as she unveiled new works at Jorge Newbery airport, while hitting out against business sectors which, in her words "want to take away all they can."
"They believe that taking away everything they can they will be saved, but they are wrong," the head of state fired, before praising the impact of state partnerships with private capital in business."Businesses can be efficient when we have the intelligence to combine the private sector with the public sector, which are not antagonists, since they have the responsibility of developing better services and contributing towards the country's growth," she maintained, before highlighting improvements at the City airport.
“We have now 67 operative airplanes, the amount of takes off and landings, while the quantity of passengers has increased as well,” she said.
Economy Minister Axel Kicillof, Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo, Planning Minister Julio de Vido, Social Development Minister Alicia Kirchner and Aerolineas Argentinas CEO Mariano Recalde, where some of the high rank members of the cabinet who were present at the event.
