Maradona: ‘I should be Argentina coach in Brazil’

Diego Armando Maradona has blasted head of AFA Julio Grondona, accusing him of making “a bad move” and cutting him out of the Argentine national squad, and saying that “a Pakistani knows more about football than the Argentine Football Association”.

“AFA has no clue about football. A Pakistani knows more about football than the Argentine Football Association”, said Diego to German sports magazine Bild during an interview held in Dubai, where Maradona participates in the talent show “The Victorius”.

“I’m sure that people in Pakistan are good at a lot of things, but I never saw Pakistan play the World Cup finals. Today’s AFA is filled with Pakistanis”, Pelusa insisted.

“AFA made a bad move on me and cut me out of the team. I should be Argentina’s coach in Brazil”, former Argentine captain demanded.
