US dollar closes higher at 7.975 pesos, 'blue' rises
The US dollar has closed one cent higher in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices to 7.925 pesos for buyers and 7.975 pesos for sellers.
In the informal market, meanwhile, greenbacks were trading three cents higher at 10.85 pesos (buying price) and 10.95 pesos (selling price).
The Central Bank purchased US$60 million on the markets and recorded a 4-million-dollar hike in foreign currency holdings. Argentina’s international reserves ended yesterday at u$s 27.279 billion.
