SC Lorenzetti renews call for 'rapid response' in battle against drugs
In statements to media, Supreme Court head Ricardo Lorenzetti has reaffirmed justices’ concern over drug-trafficking trends in Argentina, calling for a rapid response by all three branches of power to tackle a social scourge, he had already warned, is "doing a lot of harm."
“It is important that kids have policies that put them away from drugs,” Lorenzetti warned ratifying his statements earlier in the week when he officially inaugurated the beginning of judicial activities.
“We must act rapidly so that drug-trafficking does not continue to rise in our country,” the president of Argentina’s top tribunal added during an interview with a radio station today.
