Head of the Renewal Front Sergio Massa welcomed President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner’s “prudent and respectful” Congress speech but considered a “contradiction” her criticism of pickets and kirchnerite organizations's "way of action.”

“Luis D’Elía, for instance, represents a contradiction,” Massa told reporters in allusion to the pro-government social and polical leaedr Luis D'Elía, who has been long criticized by the opposition for his alleged "violent" and combative rethorical.

After attending CFK's address in Congress, the lawmaker and ex cabinet chief during CFK's first term in office denounced that Buenos Aires province mayors "suffered road and highway blockades” that he said were "supported" by the federal government.

Still, Massa went on saying the the president's speech was “respectful" and "prudent” but warned Ms. Kirchner shoudl have referred to “inflation" - which he affirmed is "destroying people’s salaries"-, and the recent devaluation of Argentina's peso currency.

In her address to Parliament this morning, the head of state defended people’s right to protest but called to respect all citizens. “10 people block a street and nothing happens”, she complaint and said lawmakers should debate on “urban communal living.”
