1.2 billion-dollar for 'complete renovation' of train system
Already delivering a two-hour speech in Congress this morning, CFK announced an ambitious project to "completly renovate" train system in the metropolitan area.
“I have decided and compromised more than 1.2 billion dollars for the complete renovation of all the trains in the metropolitan region,” the president said.
The news come a week after Argentineans marked a new anniversary of the so called "Once tragedy" that left 51 people dead and hundreds injured when a train crashed into the Buenos Aires City Once station on February 2012, prompting severe condemnation of the state of the railway system by society here.
