New members chosen to join Magistrates' Council
The Council of Magistrates, state-mechanism which determines the assignment and removal of judges, has elected it’s new members this afternoon, including Judge Alejandro Sánchez Freytes and Ricardo Recondo.
Kircherite representatives were appointed to the head of the two most influential commissions. The Election Commission will be headed by ruling Victory Front lawmaker Eduardo “Wado” De Pedro with Manuel Urriza, representing the scientific-educational sector, as his deputy.
The Accusation Commission, meanwhile, will be in the hands of Victory Front ally Senator Ada Iturrez de Capellini, while Alejandro Fargoosi will act as her second in command and representative of the lawyers.
