Scioli calls on agricultural leaders to 'work together' in Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires Governor Daniel Scioli met today with the Provincial Agricultural Table, which gathers local agrarian producers, to exchange ideas between the parties and discuss the sector’s main issues.
Scioli, together with Buenos Aires Minister of Agriculture Alejandro “Topo” Rodríguez, urged Liaison Table representatives to “unify their claims and exchange productive proposals with the Government”, an official press release stated.
The governor also called on the agricultural sector to "work together as a team for the two years that remain in the provincial government", referring to the period left of his mandate, which ends in 2015.
The Buenos Aires Liaison Table was represented by local chapters of The Rural Society (SR), Agrarian Federation (FA), Coninagro and CARBAP.
Head of Banco Provincia Gustavo Marangoni also participated in the meeting, and discussed credit policies to help increase wheat production.
