Price agreement benefits PROCREAR housing program, Bossio says
The price agreement the government has set with construction sector companies will allow the PROCREAR housing program to meet its goals “in due time and proper course,” ANSES social security agency Chief Diego Bossio has said.
During a press conference at the government house where he addressed media to announce emergency relief for the flood victims in the provinces of San Juan and Mendoza, Diego Bossio referred to the agreement the government has reached with private-sector retailers to control prices and stem inflation. For the Anses official, the deal involving “more than 50 builders in the City and province of Buenos Aires” and “more than 30 products that are essential for construction” allows the PROCREAR houses to be ready “in due time and proper course.”
As he explained the government housing program has already benefited 95,000 families, Bossio took the chance to praise the PROGRESAR plan that President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner recently announced, setting a monthly allowance of 600 pesos for students to finish their careers. According to the head of Anses, 300,000 youngsters have signed up for the education aid and 450,000 are expected to enroll in March when the program will be officially kicked off.
