US dollar down one cent; 'blue' drops

The US dollar closed down one cent today at banks and exchange offices, trading at 7.78 pesos (selling price). The Central Bank bought last Friday 70 million dollars boosting international reserves.

The 'blue' dollar which trades in the informal market also saw a fall in value, dropping 12 cents to 11.78 pesos.
