Macri insists on building “plaster classrooms.”
Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio Macri insisted that he will see through his plan to build “plaster classrooms,” one day after a protest carried out by parents at the Bernasconi Institute school. “The modular structures represent a new construction system that is now being implemented all over the world,” Macri said. On Wednesday Judge Elena Liberatori, chief of the Fourth Court of the City of Buenos Aires, upheld an injunction filed by legislator Virginia González Gass to stop the construction of the so-called “plaster classrooms” in the corridors of the Bernasconi Institute school, on the grounds that the building is a historic monument.
