Wot, finally no Charly García at the Colón?
Finally it’s a no-no for Argentine rocker Charly García, whose Líneas paralelas-Artificio de lo imposible was scheduled to be staged on February 22 at the Teatro Colón opera house.
According to his management, García, 62, has too tight an agenda and there’s no chance of rescheduling the Colón performance.
García, whose health was very feeble recently, was hospitalized at the Fleni clinic between January 21 and 31, diagnosed with intense fever. In September, 2013, García presented his Líneas paralelas at the Colón, accompanied by his band The Prostitution and a double string quartet called Orquesta Kashmir, conducted by Patricio Villarejo. Refunds for the cancelled show start Thursday, February 20 from 10am at the Colón.
