CFK meets with Caló, ratifies collective bargains must be annual
President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner met today with head of CGT Balcarce Antonio Caló in Olivos and ratified that this year’s collective bargains must be annual.
Together with Caló, head of SMATA Ricardo Pignanelli, head of Taxi Union Omar Viviani and head of Obras Sanitarias José Luis Lingeri attended the meeting.
“We too wanted to have only one collective bargain”, Lingeri said to NA agency after the meeting.
Lingeri revealed that Cristina Kirchner also said that if economic conditions worsen, both parts, unions and business representatives, could negotiate to reopen salary talks.
This was the first meeting between Caló and Ms. Kirchner after the union leader said “some worker’s salaries are not sufficient to buy food”.
