Ezequiel Lavezzi’s uncle murdered in shooting
The uncle of football star player Ezequiel Lavezzi was found dead in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, part of Greater Rosario, Santa Fe province, in a case that authorities are treating as a homicide.
According to police sources, the victim identified as 60-year-old Jorge Lavezzi was discovered lifeless inside his Ford Truck today at 7:45 am.
“His relatives confirmed it was the brother of Lavezzi’s father,” assured the local attorney Adrián Sbella after leaving the scene crime.
The leading hypothesis sustained by the Police sustains that Lavezzi resisted an attempted robbery, leading to him receiving a gunshot to the head. No person has been arrested yet.
Ezequiel Lavezzi plays in France for Paris Saint Germain. He is also a former San Lorenzo player, and current member of the Argentina senior national football team.
