Rafa Nadal pulls out of Buenos Aires tournament

Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal will not take part in an upcoming ATP tennis tournament scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires, after failing to recover from a back injury suffered during the final of the Australian Open.

Nadal himself made the announcement in a video uploaded onto the world No. 1's facebook page, in which he admitted that he was not fit to play the championship which begins on February 10.

"I have still not been able to train on the track due to the back problems I have suffered since Australia and also due to a stomach virus that is currently affecting me," the Spaniard stated.

Nadal also affirmed that he had no choice but to take this "sad" decision just days before the tournament begins, and signed off warmly to his Argentine followers.
