River beats Boca 2-1 to win third and last summer 'Superclásico'

Teo Gutiérrez celebrates River''s second goal (TÉLAM)

River Plate beat Boca Juniors 2-1 today in “Malvinas Argentinas” stadium in Mendoza and won the Luis Nofal Summer Cup.

Defender Gabriel Mercado scored at 9 minutes in the first half for “los Millonarios”, before  Daniel Díaz evened the match at 26 minutes. Both goalkeepers, Agustín Orión and Marcelo Barovero, had a bad first half and helped in the goals.

Then, Teo Gutierrez sealed the match for River in the second half.

This was the third and last “Superclásico” of the summer: River won two matches and the other one ended in a tie.
