US dollar rose two cents at 8.015 pesos

The official dollar rate today rose two cents to 8.015 pesos after last week's strong rises, while the reference rate for dollar purchases for savings was also higher at 9.62 pesos in its second day of trading.

In the black market, the US currency climbed to 12.50 pesos.

So far 2014, the US currency has already shown a 22.8 percent rise.
