Cristina arrives in Havana
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner arrived in Havana to participate in the II Latin-American and Caribbean States Community Summit to be held in the Cuban capital on January 28 29. The head of state was escorted by Foreign Minister Héctor Timmerman, Public Comunication Secretary Alfredo Scoccimarro and Entre Ríos Province Governor Sergio Uribarri. Also Radical Party activist Leopoldo Moreau was invited to join the official delegation that landed in the island on board the Tango 01 presidential jet. Fernández de Kirchner made no comments on her arrival and, instead, she climbed into a black Jaguar vehicle from Cuban protocol and headed towards the Hotel Nacional where the Argentinean officials will stay. It is estimated that 33 head of states and governments from the region will attend to the meeting this week.
