Macri: ‘This way of doing politics can’t go on’
After having a meeting with his economical team, Buenos Aires City Mayor, Mauricio Macri held a press conference in reaction to the measures released earlier by the Federal Government, and affirmed that “This way of doing politics can’t go on.”
The key figures of the Pro party reunited, as result of the actions announced this morning by Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich and Economy Minister Axel Kicillof.
In that sense, Macri considered that “this has to do with a political model that doesn’t work, and we are saying it for a decade,” while adding that “This way of doing politics can’t go on.”
According to Macri, “there is a lot of uncertainty and that is not something good”.
“Measures have been taken, but no one knows how they area going put them into practice on Monday”, he concluded.
Earlier this morning, the national government has lifted restrictions on personal US dollar purchases for citizens, ending a prohibition on greenback savings that began at the end of 2011.
