Security Secretary Sergio Berni to head fight against drugs
Amid the overhaul of the Sedronar anti-drugs agency, Security Secretary Sergio Berni has been appointed to head the fight against drug trafficking in Argentina. The 54/2014 resolution has been published in the official gazette, signed by President Kirchner, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich and Security Ministry María Cecila Rodríguez.
The decision comes after the Sub- Secretariat of Fight against Drug Trafficking was put under the scope of Rodríguez's office when President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner designated priest Juan Carlos Molina to head the Secretariat government-led programme for the prevention of drug addiction, Sedronar.
