'Blue' dollar continues to skyrocket, hits new record high at 11.95

The so called “blue” dollar hit a new record high and closed at 11.90 pesos for buyers and 11.95 pesos for sellers. The 72.7-percent- gap between official and parallel rates, greenbacks in the informal market have reached an 83-cent-hike over the week.

Meanwhile, the American currency in Buenos Aires City banks climbed two cents and a half to 6.755 pesos (buying price) and 6.805 pesos (selling price).
