Cardoso is new INCAA president
The government yesterday named María Lucrecia Cardoso the new president of the National Film Institute INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales), replacing longtime chief Liliana Mazure, who left the job in December to take on her new position as Congresswoman.
Cardoso’s appointment was highly expected since she has held the INCAA vice-presidency until now. The institute’s new vice-president is Juan Esteban Buono Repetto. Both officials will remain in place for four years but the government can decide to extend their terms in the future.
