BA City Deputy Mayor, María Eugenia Vidal assured that the Pro party will dispute a place in Buenos Aires province to join Mauricio Macri’s effort in the 2015 presidential election.

However, she rejected a political alliance with Sergio Massa’s Renewal Front, like the one that took place during the legislative elections of October.

“The alliance we have done with Massa, was aimed to prevent a Constitutional reform by the President Cristina Fernández Kirchner,” Vidal stated during a radio interview.

In addition, Macri’s second in command expressed “that risk does not exist any more”, which is why “we are working in our own project without the intention of competing in an internal election.”

According to Vidal, the City administration proved that “we do not operate with clientelism, nor political structure, but we have a large experience and proven results to present”.
