Police recovers over 2,400 works of art hidden in a shed

Police recovered today over 2,400 works of art during a squatting in Temperley. Most of the pieces belonged to painter Nelia Licenziato, and there was one signed by Quinquela Martín.

The paintings were stolen in a series of house robberies, commanded by a real-estate businessman from surrounding neighborhoods.

The procedure was carried out by Lomas de Zamora Police department. The building, located at 130 Colón Street, was properly set to maintain and protect the works of art from hot weather.
