Sanz meets Binner, aims to ‘include UNEN’ ahead 2015 presidential run
Head of the Civic Radical Union (UCR), Ernesto Sanz, met the leader of the Progressive Broad Front (FAP), Hermes Binner, to discuss the creation of a national center-left force towards the 2015 presidential election. “We feel UNEN belongs to this political space,” Sanz told the press.
“It’s our goal to include UNEN in our space and create a real alternative for the 2015 presidential elections”, Sanz added.
He and Binner met in Mar del Plata, at “Contessi” shipyard, while head of UNEN front Pino Solanas and UCR’s referent Julio Cobos also met today in Olivos, to diagram a joint set of parliamentary proposals for this year.
“It’s important to boost a social-democrat agenda in Congress,” Solanas and Cobos agreed.
Binner and Solanas are expected to meet "near the end of the month," former Governor of Santa Fe said.
