Kicillof denies changes in wealth tax
Economy Minister Axel Kicillof today denied any changes in the way the Federal Government calculates the personal wealth tax.
“It is not in the Government´s agenda to start using the market value of properties to calculate the tax”, Kicillof said during an interview with Radio Del Plata.
Yesterday, the head of the AFIP tax bureau, Ricardo Echegaray, said that President Cristina Kirchner´s administration would “amend the way it calculates personal wealth tax and will use the market value of properties rather than their declared fiscal value”, in a conference at the AFIP headquarters.
Kicillof today denied this version, and assured that the issue “hasn´t been discussed”.
