Córdoba's Minister of Economy Ángel Elettore denied today the possibility of issuing a pseudo currency bond in his province during an interview to a local radio.

“We completely reject that version,” stated Elettore and assured that the Governor José Manuel De La Sota, "never analyzed that kind of alternative."

"With the tax revenue and the co-participation benefit, we were able to face the expenses and payments for suppliers.”

In that sense, Jorge Lawson, the local Minister of Communications expressed that “we pay salaries and pensions on time, we are working on six new highways, and financially, we have a budget surplus.”

Regarding the relation with the Federal Government, Elettore told that there is a fluid dialogue with Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich, and revealed that “They talk on the phone, via mail or text messages every day.”
