US dollar climbs one cent to 6.56 pesos, 'blue' trades at 10.30
The US currency closed today one cent higher today following yesterday’s two-cent-and-a-half climb. Rates were at 6.51 pesos for buyers and 6.56 for sellers in BA City banks and exchange offices. Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar jumped three cents to 10.30 pesos.
Argentina’s peso currency marked a 32-percent devaluation last year doubling 2012 trends.
The parallel dollar jumped three cents at 10.25 pesos (buying price) and 10.30 (selling price).
On Thursday, informal market greenbacks hit a 17-cent rise on Thursday reaching 10.12 pesos (buying price) and 10.17 pesos (selling price).
