Massa presents his ‘National Board’
National lawmaker and Renewal Front leader Sergio Massa announced his “National Board”, along with Senator Carlos Reutemann and other former Peronist members, during a meeting in Tigre, province of Buenos Aires.
The politicians discussed the construction of an alternative for the upcoming years. In that sense, Massa affirmed that “we are constructing an agenda for 2014 which includes issues like inflation, insecurity, education, public services and tax pressure.”
However that option seems to exclude Mauricio Macri, Mayor of Buenos Aires city, because according to Massa “the Pro party expresses the Argentine right wing, while we are in the centre,” of the political spectrum.
In addition, he called the Federal Government officials to “stop hiding and making excuses, start solving the problems of the people.”
Economist Rodolfo Lavagna, who was also present at the reunion, considered that “We are facing an economic adjustment, led by a government that pretends to be ‘Justicialist and Progressive'.”
National lawmakers Darío Giustozzi, Felipe Soláa, Hector Daer and Graciela Camaño also assisted to the event.
