Piranhas attack in River Paraná

A man is treated after he was bitten by a palometa, as the piranha is known in the river provinces, while wading in the Paraná River in Rosario, Santa Fe province on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Lifeguards director Federico Cornier has said that thousands of bathers wee cooling off from 40°C temperatures in the area on Wednesday when they suddenly came to them complaning about bites on their hands and feet.
