Gov't, businessmen, unions met to boost investments, curb informal employment
Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich and Economy Minister Axel Kicillof were attending this morning a meeting with businessmen and union leaders to discuss several pending topics such as wage talks, investments and economic goals for next year.
At the beginning of the meeting, Kicillof confirmed the government has implemented a series of measures to reduce informal employment, and to encourage competitiveness of regional economies with compensations “which will allow to broaden their productive capacity and exports.”
He furthermore announced the creation of a trust fund called FONDEAR (Fund for the Argentine Economic Development) aimed at financing projects in strategic sectors and regional economies.
A Central Bank crédito line was also unveiled Ahmed at supporting productive projects as well as an investment plan to improbé logistics and transport, specially the Belgrano Cargas railway line.
Earlier, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich came on stage to reveal some of the announcements they will make today at the Government House, some of them to boost investments related to infrastructure, logistics and energy, in response to the business sector demands.
