During a special message for Christmas, UK Prime Minister David Cameron addressed Malvinas citizens and said that Britain “will “never” let Argentina violate their “right for self determination.”

In addition, he stated that he will keep rejecting President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner “campaign” for sovereignty over the island’s natural resources.

“You have the right to explore the natural resources. The Argentine Government attempts to prevent it will not succeed,” told the PM.

Cameron assured that “the British Government will maintain its support against Argentina’s campaign.”
