Teamsters threaten to strike if bonus deal isn't reached by 6 pm
The teamsters’ union Sichoca, led by Hugo Moyano labor leader, today warned that if the government does not meet their demands by 6 pm this afternoon, it will set the date of a strike, which could spur shortages ahead of the holidays.
Truck drivers are demanding an extra end-of-year bonus of 4,500 pesos.
"Today is the last day, I am not sitting anymore. I am not negotiating anymore. If by 6 pm there is no deal, we will set the date of the strike,” union’s deputy secretary Pablo Moyano told the media.
