Capitanich calls for 'Popular participation' in Security Forces control
Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich called for a “popular participation in the control of the Security Forces”, during a press conference at the National Library in the city of Buenos Aires.
After meeting with intellectual figures from the Carta Abierta organization, Capitanich stated that “The ones who have the responsibility of protecting the lives and the patrimony, cannot be same who promote the violent incidents.”
In addition, he reviewed the achievements of the Victory Front party, while emphasising the “economic grow” and the “institutional quality”.
Work Minister Carlos Tomada, Philosopher Ricardo Foster and Unesco executive member Daniel Filmus were also present in the event.
