Protests continue in Tucumán province

In Tucumán's province, thousands of pot banging demonstrators gathered in the Independencia square, in rejection of the looting incidents and police protest that took place in the last two days.

According to La Gaceta newspaper, about 15.000 people participated in the manifestation that started around 8 pm, carrying signs, handing pamphlets and hitting their pots.

Earlier, Tucumán's police chief Jorge Racedo presented his resignation and he will be replaced by Dante Bustamante, informed the Secretary of Civilian Security, Paul Hofer.
