Government of Río Negro strikes wage deal with police
After long discussions held between the Security and Justice Minister of Río Negro Oscar Albrieu; the minister of Government Luis Di Giácomo; and the Police chief Fabián Gatti, as well as police representatives, a wage deal was reached today ending a conflict which prompted protests during the weekend.
The agreement includes a 35 percent hike which increases the basic salary to 9,500 pesos plus 500 pesos for perfect attendance.
“A new stage began for the police of Río Negro, leaving behind deferrals this sector has suffered during many years,” Albrieu stressed.
