US dollar climbs to 6,25 pesos, 'blue' drops to 9.50

The US dollar climbs a cent and a half in Buenos Aires City exchange offices and Banks at 6.20 pesos for buyers and 6.25 for sellers reaching a 10-cent hike over the week.

Meanwhile, the so called “blue dollar” that trades in the informal market drops by 19 cent at 9.45 pesos (buying price) and 9.50 (selling price) resuming downward trends after constant surge in the informal market that followed the government’s decision to tighten foreign exchange controls earlier this week.

BA stocks closed today up 0.1 percent. The Merval benchmark stock index finished trading at 5.331.28 points.
