María Cecilia Rodríguez to replace Puricelli as Security Minister
Presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro confirmed the resignation of Security Minister Arturo Puricelli who will be replaced by María Cecilia Rodríguez, a young official who was appointed earlier in June to head the Military Coordination Secretariat for Emergency Assistance under Puricelli's scope.
An activist at the pro-kirchnerism polictial organization La Cámpora, Rodriguez is said to have close ties with Security Secretary Sergio Berni.
Scoccimarro also announced that the new minister and the newly designated head of the SEDRONAR anti-drug trafficiking office father Juan Carlos Molina will be sworn in on Wednesday at the government house.
